Today marks the beginning of summer break. Andrew had a grand time figuring out the menu for the week since it's just the two of us. Our big date for tonight was to go grocery shopping. He had a fun time choosing things like the cereal he wanted, knowing the box would actually last longer than one breakfast for a change.
I was surprised how quickly we got through the shopping and how empty the cart seemed. There is a bit of a difference shopping for 2 instead of 7. Go figure.
Tomorrow Andrew has cub ball and he's really looking forward to playing another game. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and maybe I'll even remember my camera to take a couple of pictures.
