Jon went to Effigy Mounds and the Mississippi River boat tour through a partnership with Silos and Smokestacks. He also got to go to Spook Cave and do some trout fishing.
Andrew was thrilled to go caving with a friend at Werden's Cave near Maquoketa. This is a place none of his brothers have ever been ... how often does the youngest child get to say that? One of his days was spent with an archeologist and learning more about the Native Americans that once lived where I now work. Andrew got to help build a Wikiup that day. Below is a picture of him weaving some pieces for the Wikiup.

YAY to Andrew and getting some where before his brothers. I'm not so sure what the odds of that are, but I'm very happy for him being able to say that. Sounds like some great summer programs they got to be a part of.
