For My Brother

I was feeling extremely frustrated when I got a phone call today informing me of an important meeting in Cedar Rapids on Thursday night. I knew nothing about the meeting and the possibility of clearing my schedule to be there at this point is slim to none. I am a scheduler. I like to plan things out and put them on the calendar. Now, being the mother of five gentlemen has helped me to loosen my death grip on my planner and learn to be more flexible. Apparently, I still have more to learn in this department since I keep finding myself in more situations that require a greater flexibility than I have yet attained.

Anywho, for some unknown reason, I began to think of my brother. I remembered a song that he used to lip sync for me from time to time that always made me laugh. I needed the laugh today. So, I did a quick search for the song and have updated my play list to include it. The song you're listening for is the delightful and smile inducing "They're Coming to Take Me Away" by Dr. Demento.

Thank you for helping me smile today, Mugwamp ... even if you didn't know you were doing it. Love ya! :)
