For some reason, I was having a mental block about what to donate for the auction. Finally, I decided to donate Mom Cards. These are simple business cards with Mom's contact information that can be given to teachers or playmates or kept in your child's backpack for an emergency, etcetera. The sister who "bought" the cards suggested that I include a quote about being a mom.
I did some searching through my extensive quote database (thank you to Lara and her husband for supplying this tool to organize them) but nothing seemed quite right. I really wanted to include something about the fact that Krista is talented, creative, and artistic. Today, I invented a quote of my own:
"A mother is an artist whose greatest masterpiece
is the nature of her children sketched upon her heart."
I hope she likes it.

I wish I could have gone.. It sounds like it was fun.. But looks like June 1st.. We will be back if everything works out with the place we are looking at... Keep your fingers crossed!
Ps. I hate those signs in the Doctors offices about the 15 min.. Because I have found that if you confront them on how long you have waited.. They are not always nice about it..Ha Ha..
