Fortune says...

Mustang Man thought he was being cute when he handed me a Chinese fortune cookie. He knows I'm dying to hear back about the job interview the other day, which I think went great but find myself second guessing. He was certain there would be good news inside that cookie. There was certain to be something that would at least make me smile, and maybe even take my mind off of things for at least a few seconds. He and I were both shocked when the cookie came up empty!

What does a fortune-less fortune cookie mean exactly? I'm choosing to believe it means I get to write my own fortune.

In other news... I can't wait for Stormin' and Moose to return from Youth Conference today. I actually found out they have been staying in the home of one of my friends. Elaine is an awesome lady that I had the pleasure of meeting at Young Women Camp a couple of years ago.

Apparently, Stormin' has developed a rash, possible poison ivy. Hopefully he isn't feeling too itchy. Luckily one of their leaders is also a nurse and he was there to check things out and to administer calamine lotion and benadryl.

I'm sure my two oldest gents will have many stories to share of their fun adventures while they've been away. I can't wait to hear them!
