Fortune says...

I laughed when I read my fortune. If you know me well, you already know that I consider five to be my lucky number. I have five fabulous gents to prove it!

I was also amused because it took five months (May, June, July, August, September) before I received a phone call that I've wanted since graduation. I've been offered a position in my chosen field. I'm so excited!

We were actually driving home from Uncle Fiddle Man's funeral when the phone call came. I really liked a few things that the minister said about him. For example, he talked about the fact that Uncle Fiddle Man did not attend the church building but spent countless hours in worship in the outdoors. Oma commented that Uncle Fiddle Man was looking out for me, since I will also be considered a Naturalist in my new position.

I also loved it when the minister said, "He would do anything you asked him to, and nothing you told him." After the service and luncheon, there was a bluegrass jam session in Uncle Fiddle Man's honor. That was unusual, but also fitting.
